Lorraine was born in Oneonta New York, and has lived in Alaska since 1997. Lorraine is a wife and mother of two daughters. She is a vocal advocate for the independence of individuals experiencing disabilities, and is passionate about prevention of abuse and neglect of vulnerable adults, seniors and children.
Lorraine has worked in the disability field for over 20 years, and has worked as an independent living specialist, a care coordinator, and has worked with many agencies in the Fairbanks community. She worked many years coordinating and building the Disability Abuse Response Team that partnered with many Fairbanks community agencies to build a team that created wrap around services for people with disabilities that were victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.
She had also worked for Center of Human Development, providing training of Alaska Prevention of Abuse and Neglect of Vulnerable Adults curriculum statewide.
Lorraine is very honored to serve on ACCA Board of Directors.
