Infant Early Childhood Mental Health focuses on the connections between young children ages birth to eight and their caregivers. Supporting caregivers in their early interactions with their children and how those interactions have a positive correlation with the outcomes of adults.
What is Infant Early Childhood Mental Health
Early childhood mental health focuses on a child’s emotional, psychological, and social well-being from birth through age 8. It encompasses a child’s developing capacity to express and regulate emotions, form trusting relationships, and explore their environment within their cultural context. A strong foundation in early childhood mental health is crucial for a child’s overall development and lifelong well-being
